Digital radiography

Digital radiography is a state of the art method of x-ray imaging that allows the capture of filmless images. It replaces older methods of image capture that required greater amounts of radiation and chemical film processing. Digital radiography allows for the collection of electronic images for ease of storage and transfer and allows veterinarians a wide range of options for image enhancement. This type of testing is important in the investigation of clinical and diagnostic changes and in the staging of cancer.
