  • Receptionist Supervisor

    Elsa Melendez

    Elsa was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and joined VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in 2005 as a front office receptionist. She has spent the past 10-years refining her customer service skills and is currently one of our Front Office Receptionist Supervisors.

    In her free time away from the hospital, Elsa is married and the mother of two little boys; Brian and Benjamin. She loves the great outdoors, swimming and spending time on the beach. Elsa and her family have a fresh water fish tank with a plethora of colorful little creatures.

    Eliot Preston

    Eliot was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. He began his career with VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital as a receptionist where he has had the opportunity to apply his exceptional customer service skills. He is now a front office supervisor. Growing up in a household filled with furry friends, Eliot developed a passion for the overall well-being of animals.

    Trisha Hanson

    Trisha was born and raised in Wisconsin, and moved to Los Angeles in 1997. She always had a passion for helping animals. She began her career in the veterinary field at a general practice facility as a kennel assistant in 1999. In 2002, she joined VCA WLA where she now is a Front Office Floor Supervisor. Trisha spends a lot of her time fostering kittens. She spends her time outside of work with her three children and her dog, Odie.

    Nancy Solis

    Nancy was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She first joined VCA WLA Animal Hospital in 2001 where she worked as a cashier for 2 years, then was promoted to Financial Coordinator in 2003. She worked as a Financial Coordinator for 2 years then moved to the technical side where she worked as a doctor’s assistant/technician for an additional 2 years. In 2007 Nancy moved out of the Los Angeles area and had to briefly leave the VCA family for 5 years. During that time she gained experience in administrative work and customer service. In 2012 she relocated to the Los Angeles area and rejoined the VCA family as a financial coordinator. Nancy has two young dogs; Parker and Atticus, and a handsome Tuxedo named Spinelli.
