VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado

Appointments

Your initial 60-minute exam is devoted to gathering history and physical findings. Following the exam, the doctor will help you understand your pet's problem and the options available to you. Recommendations are then made in regards to treatment options and to reach a diagnosis of your pet's condition. We will then notify your veterinarian of the findings so that they may include them in your pet's medical records.

Specialist Hours:

Our veterinary specialists see appointments at the following times:

  • Dr. Bright: Wednesday '" Friday
  • Dr. Fleischman: Wednesday - Saturday
  • Dr. Rose (formerly Dr. Lambert): Monday '" Thursday

Emergency Hours:

No appointments are required to see the emergency doctors. They see patients on a prioritized basis should there be any wait. ER doctors are available from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.

Our team of highly-skilled ER doctors and technicians are ready to serve your needs when your regular veterinarian is unable to do so - night, weekends, and during holidays. The emergency service has specialists available at all times for consultation and surgery, and as with the specialty practice, our ER doctors will keep your regular veterinarian informed about your pets status via phone and with a detailed letter documenting your visit.
