  • Hospital Administrator

    Margaret Austin

    Margaret Austin is VCA VRA's Hospital Administrator. She began working with our team as a receptionist in August 1997. In May 2003 she was trained and began working as a veterinary technician with our Cardiology Department. Stepping up to fill a vital vacancy, Margaret became office manager in August 2005. She has since been promoted to Hospital Administrator, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospital. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. 

  • Referral Coordinator

    Mary Yonemura

    Mary Yonemura is the Referral Coordinator/Liaison for the Internal Medicine Department. She began working for VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in May 2007. She also compassionately cares for families coping with bereavement issues.

  • Purchasing/Pharmacy Manager

    Adam Goldfarb
    School: Tufts University

    Adam Goldfarb has been the Pharmacy Manager at VCA/VRA since April 2012. Before joining the VCA team, Adam spent over 7 years at The Humane Society of the United States, finishing his time there as the Director of Pet Care Issues. During his tenure at The HSUS, Adam assisted thousands of pet owners with questions about pet care and behavior, lobbied for animal protection at the national, state, and local levels, and provided pet expertise to major media outlets such as USA today, The New York Times, The Weather Channel, and CNN.

    Adam is originally from Rochester, NY and graduated from Tufts University in Medford, MA in 2001. Adam currently shares his life with Topper, a very special older rabbit. Topper is the first and only rabbit to use the water treadmill in VCA/VRA's physical therapy department. When he's not working or hanging out with Topper, Adam enjoys playing volleyball.

    Linda Steinberg oversee purchasing and billing at Veterinary Referral Associates.

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital.
VCA Veterinarian Referral Associates provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.

We provide the highest standard in veterinary emergency and critical care services. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of emergency surgeries and procedures. We provide the highest standards of pain management. Emergency internal medicine consultations, including full diagnostics, are available.
