Prior to accepting the position of Hospital Operations Director at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center, she managed VCA Adobe Medical Center in Albuquerque's North Valley. She is married to a wonderful man who appreciates the outdoors as much as she does and they were married on the slopes at Taos Ski Valley. They enjoy many healthy outdoor activities, both challenging and relaxing (skiing, kayaking, hiking), and have a mutual respect for nature. She has a 23 year old stepdaughter living in Texas and a 4-legged bunchkin named Adia, a chihuahua who just turned 11 years old. She enjoys reading fiction and finds time to nuture her artistic side by creating jewelry. Her favorite pieces are those that she makes for others as a gift, as they usually reflect a special sentiment.
