    Grace is Veterinary Technician Supervisor at SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center. Prior to becoming a veterinary technician and supervisor, Grace was a teacher for 13 years. Her career path changed when one of her cats became seriously ill, and she learned how to nurse him and take care of his needs. She became very interested in veterinary medicine and entered a program to become a veterinary technician. After she performed her internship at SouthPaws in the Internal Medicine Department, she worked at a general practice hospital for two years. She then “came home” to SouthPaws in 1997 and has been with the hospital ever since. She became Veterinary Technician Supervisor in 2010.

    In her spare time, Grace enjoys being with her family, beekeeping and reading. Her furry family includes four cats, including Harry, Penny and ET (adopted from Four Paws, a local rescue group), and Turk, who was brought to Southpaws by a good Samaritan who found him as a stray, wandering in the streets.
