Pets: Titus was adopted as a stray pup that came in on her emergency rotation during vet school in 2009 with a broken leg. He recovered well after his leg was repaired and one year later, they ran two 5K's together. He has become a bit spoiled and sedentary since then and now specializes in the art of cuddling.

Personal Facts: As a native of Ohio, Alicia remains an avid OSU football fan (GO BUCKS!). She also enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, and exploring DC.

If you suspect your pet is having a medical crisis, our experienced team of veterinarians, technicians and assistants are here to assist you.

Our Emergency and Critical Care units can assist in all of the following situations requiring immediate medical attention: Auto accidents, traumatic injuries (fractures, bites, burns, lacerations, wounds), respiratory emergencies (choking, difficulty breathing), vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty urinating/defecating, shock, loss of consciousness, dizziness, staggering, tremors, seizures, paralysis, toxic reactions, poison ingestion, labor and delivery problems, blood in urine or feces, swollen, hard, painful abdomen, heatstroke.
