Four abandoned kittens brought to our hospital by a good Samaritan were filthy and severely infected with fleas. After we cleaned these little babies up and treated them, one of our staff members fostered them, nursing them back to health.

This is particularly important when determining the extent of injuries in trauma cases, where every second counts.
