Dr. Bryce Tusa received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 2007 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2011. He then completed a rotating small animal internship at the New England Animal Medical Center in Massachusette. Dr. Tusa is a native New Yorker originally from Long Island, NY but now living in Brooklyn.

Dr. Tusa’s areas of interest include emergency medicine, surgery and behavior. He currently has three dogs �" a pit bull named “Deuce,” a Labrador named “Sassy” and a maltese named “Princess.” In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his dogs, rock climbing and traveling.

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital. South Shore Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
