Biography

Dr. Susan Morrison is a 1984 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. Following graduation, Dr. Morrison completed a small animal internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center and a small animal internal medicine residency at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell. During her residency, Dr. Morrison received extensive training in internal medicine, echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound. Since 1988, Dr. Morrison has been on staff at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital doing in-house and referral abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography and internal medicine. Dr. Morrison has been a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine since 1991. Dr. Morrison' special interests include, but are not limited to, diagnosis and treatment of hepatic, gastrointestinal, endocrine and cardiac disease. She is currently available for consultation and referral appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
