Biography
Dr. Kube has returned home to practice her specialty, as she was born in Boston and raised in Framingham. She received her DVM degree from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2000, and then completed a one-year Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in July of 2001. This was followed by a one-year Specialty Internship in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, and then a three-year Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at The University of California at Davis. Following the completion of her Residency, Dr. Kube became Board Certified in Neurology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the summer of 2005.
Dr. Kube is a very accomplished clinician, and has been the author or co-author of numerous publications. She also enjoys lecturing, as well as working with and riding horses! Her main areas of interest include neurosurgery (especially brain tumors and spinal cord tumors) and neuromuscular diseases. She is extremely proactive regarding pain management and control, and is a strong believer in physical therapy for rehabilitation.
