Josh III was in good hands
-Linda Cotter from Rohnert Park, CA
Pet Name: Josh III
Our little guy almost made it to age 15 thanks to the equal parts expertise and human kindness and compassion you all demonstrated on every occasion throughout his life. On his final day you respected and supported our decision to let him go. Not only did you provide the most gentle environment and process for his final moments with our family you showed the utmost in empathy to us afterwards. Your staff in Rohnert Park is very special. -
Mudskipper's Last Stand
-amy,misha, and noah from rohnert park, CA
Pet Name: Muddy Mudskipper
It is never easy to have to help a pet out of a body that cannot go on. Mudddy Mudskipper was with me for almost 17 years. The staff at VCA was kind and sympathetic to the loss my family experienced. I wanted to post a picture of how beautiful Muddy was when he was younger. I know all pets are special but Muddy really was an amazing character. You all are doing amazing work with critical care for animals--thank you! -
Thank You from Lily
-Dina and Bryan from San Francisco, CA
Pet Name: Lily
Thank you so much to everyone at VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County for taking such good care of our little Lily. She was so lucky to have a supportive team of doctors and staff attending to all of her medical needs. Thanks to your wonderful care, we are happy to report that she is back to being the sweet, happy, playful dog we love so much!
With a team of vet specialists we knew she was in good hands. Dr. Campbell operated on her and took away her pain. Dr. Westworth and Dr. Lavely tended to her so carefully post-op, and the entire staff kept up the vigil around the clock. Dr. Schachter and Dr. Magne helped to stabilize and manage her diabetes and we are so thankful for that. No wonder she is doing so well just a few months later!
Thanks again to everyone! -
Thank you
-Mattie G. from Santa Rosa, CA
Pet Name: BettyThanks so much for taking such good care of our Betty, the pit-boxer mix, the other night. The injections you gave her to reduce her allergic bee sting reaction took all the swelling out of her lip, and the Benadryl worked like a charm. She is her usual happy, sunny self and no longer literally looks like a boxer who went a few rounds with George Foreman. ;)
Best wishes,
Martha Galban -
A thank you on Michey's behalf
-Len Felsenfeld from Petaluma, CA
Pet Name: Mickey
Thank you to the entire staff for your efforts in treating Mickey's injuries. Your competence, care and concern are much appreciated and have enabled Mickey to achieve an almost complete recovery from damage that appeared to be so very devastating. We could not have asked for more. -
Thank you

Pet Name: Oreo
Dear VCA Animal Care staff
I was so gratified to receive your sympathy card on behalf of Oreo, my 17 year old cat buddy, who passed away at your facility on Feb. 5, 2013. I also was quite taken by the heartfelt care she underwent during her final time there. Everyone -- from the front desk to all the vet staff touched me very deeply with their in depth medical application and genuine concern. This all meant a lot me in saying goodby to a long time close friend.
Thank you -- for everything -- from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for Makita
-Mike and Laurie Harnsberger from Bayside, CA
Pet Name: MakitaWe would like to thank you for the excellent care that Makita received at the Animal Care Center.
She was able to enjoy two additional years due to your care. The doctors and the staff were always kind and caring during what was a very difficult time for our family. Makita is no longer with us having passed in October of this year. We miss her dearly. -
Naughty Savannah Cats
-Samantha from Rohnert Park, CA
Pet Name: Riot and Enzo
Thank you so much to the doctors and staff at the Animal Care Center of Sonoma County. They saved my 7 month old kitten "Riot" after she ingested many times the fatal dose of Rimadyl. They also did an excellent job handing her wiggly brother "Enzo" who we thought might have taken part in the trouble.
There was such a small chance that Riot would survive, but they helped pull her through and I am sure she would not have made it without their expert care. Everyone was so kind and supportive during this stressful time, I am truly grateful!
