  • Josh III was in good hands

-Linda Cotter from Rohnert Park, CA
    Pet Name: Josh III

Pet Image Our little guy almost made it to age 15 thanks to the equal parts expertise and human kindness and compassion you all demonstrated on every occasion throughout his life. On his final day you respected and supported our decision to let him go. Not only did you provide the most gentle environment and process for his final moments with our family you showed the utmost in empathy to us afterwards. Your staff in Rohnert Park is very special.

  • Mudskipper's Last Stand

-amy,misha, and noah from rohnert park, CA
    Pet Name: Muddy Mudskipper

Pet Image It is never easy to have to help a pet out of a body that cannot go on. Mudddy Mudskipper was with me for almost 17 years. The staff at VCA was kind and sympathetic to the loss my family experienced. I wanted to post a picture of how beautiful Muddy was when he was younger. I know all pets are special but Muddy really was an amazing character. You all are doing amazing work with critical care for animals--thank you!

  • Thank You from Lily

-Dina and Bryan from San Francisco, CA
    Pet Name: Lily

Pet Image Thank you so much to everyone at VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County for taking such good care of our little Lily. She was so lucky to have a supportive team of doctors and staff attending to all of her medical needs. Thanks to your wonderful care, we are happy to report that she is back to being the sweet, happy, playful dog we love so much!

With a team of vet specialists we knew she was in good hands. Dr. Campbell operated on her and took away her pain. Dr. Westworth and Dr. Lavely tended to her so carefully post-op, and the entire staff kept up the vigil around the clock. Dr. Schachter and Dr. Magne helped to stabilize and manage her diabetes and we are so thankful for that. No wonder she is doing so well just a few months later!

    Thanks again to everyone!

  • Thank you

-Mattie G. from Santa Rosa, CA
    Pet Name: Betty

Thanks so much for taking such good care of our Betty, the pit-boxer mix, the other night. The injections you gave her to reduce her allergic bee sting reaction took all the swelling out of her lip, and the Benadryl worked like a charm. She is her usual happy, sunny self and no longer literally looks like a boxer who went a few rounds with George Foreman. ;)

    Best wishes,

    Martha Galban

  • A thank you on Michey's behalf

    -Len Felsenfeld from Petaluma, CA
    Pet Name: Mickey

Pet Image Thank you to the entire staff for your efforts in treating Mickey's injuries. Your competence, care and concern are much appreciated and have enabled Mickey to achieve an almost complete recovery from damage that appeared to be so very devastating. We could not have asked for more.

  • Thank you

-Amelia Harbison from Rohnert Park, CA
    Pet Name: Luna Harbison

Thank you Dr. Lavely and staff for all you were willing to try to help our Luna pup. Thank you even more to all the staff who helped us the night she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Your caring and compassion made a horrific experience feel slightly more peaceful and comforting. Words cannot express my gratitude for all you did for my girl.

  • Quality Care at VCA AAC

-Paul and Peggie Dobbs from Sonoma, CA
    Pet Name: Bodie Dobbs

From the moment we walked through the door with our dog, Bodie in need of immediate emergency care, everyone we encountered then and over the following week was very professional, skilled, and compassionate. The quality and level of care provided at VCA ACC will comfort your pet and will also give you peace of mind.

  • THANK YOU

-Greg Smith from Rohnert Park, CA
    Pet Name: Bogey

I just wanted to take a moment to thank your wonderful staff. My wife and I had to make the decision to let our little Bogey go after 12 1/2 years. It was gut wrenching for the both of us. Your team was the most gentle and comforting group of people and that is exactly what I needed as I held my pup for the last time. THANK YOU for the compassion, understanding and excellent care in this difficult time. I know that our little Bogey is in a place where he is pain free and happy again.

  • Thank You

    -Becky Jaeger from Petaluna, CA
    Pet Name: Trudy

It has been two weeks since my wonderful boxer Trudy crossed the rainbow bridge with the help of the wonderful staff at VCA Sonoma County. Everyone was so kind to Trudy and me during that difficult time. You are all so special and caring that I wanted to send you something to express my gratitude, but rather than flowers or something that will fade, I have made a donation to West Coast Boxer Rescue in honor of all of you. Thank you again.

  • Shadow thanks you

-Rick and Charlotte from Eureka, CA
    Pet Name: Shadow

Pet Image One of our dogs, Shadow, had been in severe pain for over a month. Our local vet didn’t have the equipment necessary to diagnose the problem, so we were referred to VCA, a four-hour drive away. Dr. Campbell immediately assessed that Shadow was in great pain and performed an MRI. She saw in the images just how much pain Shadow was in and rushed her into surgery. We had to leave her for five days. When we returned to pick her up, she was almost back to being herself. It was quite clear that she was out of pain. She is now completely recovered, taking daily walks in the woods with our other dog, and acting goofy and happy like normal. The staff at VCA was very understanding and accommodating of us and the distance we were traveling. Special thanks to Dr. Campbell, who so wonderfully performed the surgery. We would recommend VCA Sonoma without reserve. Thanks again to Dr. Campbell and everyone at VCA Sonoma.
