Biography
Dr. Holahan graduated from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Holahan completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. In July 2010 she completed a residency in emergency and critical care medicine at the Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She is board certified in emergency and critical care. She has published and performed research in the areas of enteral nutrition in critical ill patients, the use of fenoldapam in acute renal failure and lactate as a prognostic indicator in dogs with immune mediated hemolytic anemia. Her interests include acute renal failure, dialysis, positive pressure ventilation, and sepsis.
Dr. Holahan is available for emergency and critical care transfers, case discussions and phone consultations.
