    Sonja Ebata

    Sonja Ebata, RVT, is one of two technician supervisors at VCA SFVS. Sonja joined the team at VCA SFVS in 2005. Born in San Francisco, Sonja spent six years living in Oahu, Hawaii. In 1995, she moved back to San Francisco. Sonja enjoys going to movies, shopping, walking her dogs and musical theater. She shares her life with Elphaba, a Yorkie mix, and Usnavi, a Chihuahua mix. She also has two mini dwarf rabbits, Cooper and Julio. Sonja loves the high-quality medicine and compassion toward animals shown here at VCA SFVS.

    Sarah Kate Kozuma (Medelinskas)
    School: UMass Amherst, B.A.

    Sarah Kate Medelinskas, RVT, is one of two technician supervisors at VCA SFVS. Sarah Kate joined VCA SFVS in 2003. She received her B.A. in comparative literature from UMass Amherst, graduating cum laude. When not at VCA SFVS, she enjoys riding and practicing dressage on her thoroughbred RudeBoy, cooking, traveling, and music. She lives in Oakland with her husband, three chickens and two small dogs. She loves the high-quality care VCA SFVS provides and the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge medicine.

2. If it is after hours or VCA SFVS is more conveniently located, call us at (415) 401-9200 and provide the client service representative with:

  • Your name and your pet's name
  • Your location and estimated time of arrival
  • Your pet's emergency

3. Get support to safely transport your pet to VCA SFVS. If you have medical records related to your pet’s emergency, please bring those with you.
