Biography

Dr. Gustafson has joined VCA Raleigh Hills from Oregon State University. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Gustafson received his DVM from OSU & WSU in 1985, his MS in Veterinary Surgery from CSU in 1989, and became a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1990. He joined Raleigh Hills Animal Hospital after designing the small animal teaching hospital and launching the small animal surgery service at Oregon State University.

Dr. Gustafson is available for consultation on orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, including arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy. His special interest is minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of joint and ligament injuries, minimally invasive surgery for oncology, and stem cell therapy.
