  My 4 month old kitten fell from the fourth story at our apartment complex and we rushed her to the VCA Newark Animal Hospital on Marrows Road in the middle of the night. The staff was super calm, even thought I was not, and were very friendly and comforting. Bailey needed surgery for a broken femoral neck, and they monitored her while she awaited surgery, assuring us that we could come and visit her while she was being cared for. When we met with Dr. Jaeger to discuss the surgery options, she was great. She explained the options thoroughly, answered all of our questions and really took the time to make sure that we were comfortable. She obviously cares a lot about the animals that she helps and the people who love those animals like family. She did an amazing job with the surgery - the incision was barely noticeable. Bailey seemed comfortable just a couple weeks after the surgery, and there were no infections or surgery related problems. I absolutely trust and recommend Dr. Jaeger. All of the Newark VCA hospital staff were very friendly too. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
