Why I Do What I Do...
"My Dad is a retired veterinarian so a love for taking care of animals started early for me. I always 'assisted' my Dad when he had to bring a sick animal home at night to be watched closely, as there was not a 24 hour emergency clinic in the area at that time. These experiences, along with a love a love fro James Herriot books, inspired me to become a veterinarian. As an Internist my job now not only includes care of sick animals, but partnering with their owners to provide them the best care. For me, no job could be more rewarding. When I'm not at work I love spending time with my two spoiled cats, Newman and Fletcher."
