VCA Los Angeles Veterinary Specialists

Patients and Visitors

All new patients are welcome to fill out the client/patient information form prior to your arrival. This can help save a lot of time during the check-in process. Also, if you have an appointment with one of our specialists, be sure you have a complete copy of your pet's medical records and test results with you for your consultation. Imaging results are very important as well. Be sure you pick up a copy of your pet's radiographs or ultrasound from your regular veterinarian.  These may be either via email to you or in disc form. These images may then be emailed to us at Please call the front desk if you need further assistance.

We encourage all of our clients to visit with their pets while in the hospital. In most cases you may visit with your pet privately in an exam room or even take them for a short walk. Visiting hours are 8:30am-12:30pm and 2:30pm - 8:30pm.

For more critical patients we do allow visiting in the ICU. However, we ask that you call ahead to schedule visiting with these delicate patients.
