VCA Highlands Cancer Treatment Center

Appointments

Scheduling and Preparing for Appointments:

  • Specialist consultation appointments are available all day Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Please set aside 2-3 hours for the first visit. This extra time allows us to plan and deliver the first treatment, if recommended.
  • Try to arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment time to allow our staff enough time to complete the required admission procedures.
  • We advise not feeding your pet on the day of the initial consultation. It may be necessary to sedate or anesthetize your pet for staging or treatment.
  • Subsequent treatments usually require about 1½ hours.
  • Treatment appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:30am and 4:30pm. This schedule allows time for your pet to recover from sedation or anesthesia prior to our hospital closing time at 6:00 pm.
  • If you wish, we can schedule all treatment appointments in advance.
  • If you run late for an appointment or treatment time, please call and ask to speak with a CTC staff member.
  • For your convenience, we offer both daytime and overnight boarding for a reasonable additional fee.

Please call us if you have any questions.
