Emergency Care

If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, and your regular veterinarian is closed, please call the emergency clinic as soon as possible at 770-491-0661.

The staff at VCA Dekalb-Gwinnett Animal Emergency Hospital will be able to give you directions and briefly discuss your animal's situation. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine if it is an emergency over the phone and leave that decision up to you. If you feel it is an emergency, then it is an emergency. Please do not be angry with the staff at the emergency clinic when they cannot give you advice over the phone. It is impossible to determine an animal's condition without seeing the animal first and all staff members are instructed not to give medical advice over the phone.
