Diagnostic imaging allows the veterinarians at VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital to identify disease and other conditions in pets, who are experiencing medical problems. As in human medicine, two such imaging techniques -- ultrasonography and digital radiography (x-ray) -- enable our veterinarians to examine a pet's internal organs without invasive surgery. It also enables our doctors to arrive at an expeditious and more accurate diagnosis, which is important when a pet is in medical crisis.
