Diagnostic Imaging

This is where we take x-rays. We use a digital system so the x-rays go right to a computer and the doctors can use that to help best view the images.

Diagnostic imaging allows the veterinarians at VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital to identify disease and other conditions in pets, who are experiencing medical problems. As in human medicine, two such imaging techniques -- ultrasonography and digital radiography (x-ray) -- enable our veterinarians to examine a pet's internal organs without invasive surgery. It also enables our doctors to arrive at an expeditious and more accurate diagnosis, which is important when a pet is in medical crisis.
