EMERGENCY CARE

VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital is fully staffed by veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, and client care specialists 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for all types of pet medical emergencies. You do not need a referral or an appointment to be seen for an emergency, however we do recommend that you call ahead, if possible, at 413-783-0603. We may suggest first aid measures you can take immediately, and we will be best prepared for your arrival.

SPECIALTY CARE

Patients are typically referred to VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital by their regular, primary care veterinarian for specialty care. Your regular veterinarian will send VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital a referral form that will describe your pet's problem and identify the appropriate specialty department to see your pet. Specialist consultations, procedures and surgery are by appointment. To schedule an appointment for your pet with one of our veterinary specialists, please call us at 413-783-1203, and we'll be happy to assist. We ask new clients to arrive 20 minutes in advance of their appointment to allow adequate time to prepare a medical record for their pet.

Alternately, you may fill out the on-line appointment form below. (If you are in doubt about your appointment needs, please call us, and we will be more than happy to help you. Please note that some appointment types cannot be made on-line.) Within 1 business day after you fill out the form, we will call you to confirm the date and time of your pet's appointment with you.

PET VISITATION HOURS

VCA Boston Road Animal Hospital is pleased to allow you to visit your hospitalized pet during our regular visiting hours from 11 AM through 11 PM. Please call and speak with one of our client care specialists in advance of your visit. Under special circumstances, arrangements may be made with your pet's veterinarian for visitation outside regular visiting hours '" please call to consult with a client care specialist who will assist you with these arrangements.

We look forward to seeing you. If you should have questions, please feel free to call us at 413-783-1203. Thank you.
