Dr. Medinger graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and was in private practice in the Chicagoland area for three years.  He competed a small animal internal medicine residency and received his master's degree at Kansas State University in 1992.  He became board certified that same year.  In addition to providing state-of-the-art medical care for patients with complex diseases, Dr. Medinger performs advanced diagnostic procedures including complete cardiac workups with Color Flow Doppler, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, cytoscopy.  Dr. Medinger also performs therapeutic placement of tracheal and urethral stents and oversees the radioactive I-131 program for treatment of hyperthyroid disease in cats.
