Dr. Matousek received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Illinois, where she also served on for three years as a clinical instructor.  Dr. Matousek has served on several committees for the ACVD including the exam committee and she is currently on the executive board of the ACVD.  She is also a member of the Chicagoland Veterinary Dermatology Group.

Dr. Matousek offers total management of allergies including skin testing, serum testing and allergen-specific immunotherapy, as well as diagnosis and treatment  of autoimmune skin diseases, alopecias, and chronic or recurrent pyoderma, otitis and pododermatitis.
