  • One year anniversay

    -Lori from Phoenix, AZ
    Pet Name: Nicki

I wanted to thank Dr. Monarski and the staff at VCA for their care and kind support. Today is the 1 year anniversary of Nicki's TPLO surgery. We celebrated with a run! Dr. Monarski is wonderful and I am so thankful for his surgical skills. We will celebrate in another 5 months the 1 year anniversary of her TPLO surgery on the other knee!

  • Thank you

    -Jo McDowell from Mesa, AZ
    Pet Name: Rosco

Pet Image Our little man Rosco had many problems that keep us coming back to VCA ARECA for many visits. Every visit we felt like the complete staff adopted Rosco as there own. We always felt that Rosco was in the best hands available. A special thanks to Dr. Keith, Dr.Roth, Melanie, Dr. Moyer and Dr. Savicky for the special care you gave our little man. At the end Rosco was cared for by almost every staff member. We know that his last days he was where he needed to be and we all did everything we could for him. God bless all of you at VCA ARECA for all you do.

  • Exceptional Care

    -Kathy from Tempe, AZ
    Pet Name: Miller

Our Doberman suffered a severe toe fracture and our Primary Vet referred him to Dr Savicky for a surgical repair. We were quite daunted by the prospect of Surgery and the following 8 weeks of inactivity for our one year old, very fit and active Doberman. We are now at 6 and a half weeks post op and the process is going surprisingly well. Dr Savicky and the staff are exceptional in every way. All staff are so responsive to questions and concerns, they make us feel as though our dog is the only animal they are caring for! We are consistently impressed with the quality of care from all aspects of this busy Specialty and Emergency Practice. I highly recommend VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona. Our dog has received simply exceptional care from pre op through surgery and on to post op care.

  • Great Level of Service and Care

    -Dana Klose from Gilbert, AZ
    Pet Name: Chloe

When my wonderful pitbull Chloe decided she wanted to eat her blanket for breakfast, she was quickly regretting her decision. Of course it was a Saturday and the 1st vet we took her too thought she may need surgery and they weren't able to help us. They recommend we go to VCA. I am very glad that we did. By the time we got there she was able to digest more of the blanket and was starting to feel a bit better. Doctor Andrew Lenius is who we saw. Him and his team took great care of her and were able to get the blanket out without surgery. Thank goodness. They treated us both with care and kindness. As much as I hope to never need an emergency vet again, I will highly recommend them to anyone I know that does.

  • The Amazing Dr. Lenius

-John and Stephaney from Mesa, AZ
    Pet Name: Lola

Pet Image Dr. Lenius saved our little Lola! Lola (11 years) had a very large mass growing from her spleen and was not doing well, but Dr. Lenius did a Splenectomy with a successful outcome. We have our happy, energetic, healthy Lola back! Brook was great in ICU as well and we knew Lola was in good hands. We cannot thank you enough for saving our Lola!

  • Wonderful Service and Care

    -Heather from Scottsdale, AZ
    Pet Name: Macy

This is an amazing place to take your pet! I brought my dog here to get a CT Scan, and I cannot say enough good things about the way we were treated. I had several questions prior to the procedure and the front staff, assistants, vet, and radiologists went about and beyond to answer my questions and put me at ease. When I brought my dog in for the CT Scan, they let me stay with her as long as possible before taking her back for the procedure. They gave me updates during the procedure and brought my dog to see me as soon as she woke up. I could tell that the staff here really care about dogs and humans. Their patience, knowledge, and kindness are unmatchable. Kathryn in radiology really went above and beyond for my dog and me. Additionally, Dr. Roth spent a great deal of time thoroughly discussing the CT Scan results withe me. My dog is my soul-mate dog, and everyone here understood that and treated us wonderfully. This is a fabulous place with staff members that truly care.

  • Neighborhood friendly Staff

-Eric and Tracy Cooper from Mesa, AZ
    Pet Name: Arrow Cooper

Pet Image We came to our local VCA on Country Club Rd. in Mesa AZ with our mixed breed dog. We didn't know if we'd be putting our loved dog down or not. But after Dr. Lenius talked to us with good common sense explanations of our dogs diagnosis. We were relieved so much. Also adding to that the more than friendly staff was just the experience our dog and we needed. I can't say enough about VCA and our wonderful experience. If you love your animals like we do, take them here if you ever have an emergency. You'll thank yourself for it. Thank You so Much, Arrow, Eric & Tracy Cooper

  • Dr. Wood Helps Weezer

-Karli the Naked Wiener from Jacksonville, NC
    Pet Name: Karli

Pet Image Hi! My name is Karli the Naked Wiener. I am a bald dachshund...that is why the odd name.
Anyway...I am writing to say a great big THANKS to Dr. Wood for seeing my friend Weezer. He has been sick and all of his friends on Facebook have been VERY worried about him. His mom took him to see Dr. Wood and they think he has an autoimmune problem but that he will be okay. We are all SO RELIEVED. We all love Weezer so much and we are thankful someone was finally able to figure out his problem.
    God Bless
    All of Weezers Friends!

    -Sue Kaminskas from Scottsdale, AZ
    Pet Name: Percy

I came here for my first time several years ago and returned in May again. I drove 90 minutes round trip because this place is pure quality! Not only are they awesome professionals but also really nice people and it includes everyone there from the front desk, to the aides, to the doctors. A special thanks to Tabitha, Kathryn, Dr. Diamond, and Dr. Rolando. And a special note of thanks to one of their own, Dr. Kim Hillers, who moved north and has been a savior to my dog Percy and I! THANKS!!!

  • VCA is the best place to take your sick pet

-Nicole and Dustin Johnson from Maricopa, AZ
    Pet Name: Marley

Last week we found out our chihuahua Marley had Parvo. He was not doing well and we did not think he was going to make it. We were broken hearted. We to took him to VCA in Mesa for several overnights for treatment. The entire staff was incredibly kind and caring. Today Marley is fantastic. He is slowly but surely getting better. I believe that without the care he received at VCA he would be doing well. We are so thankful to VCA and all there doctors and staff. They are amazing people and even more amazing at what they do. There is no better place to take your special friend when they are sick.
