Patients and Visitors
"What is that?"
Our visitation policies:
Your visits are often helpful to our patients and contribute to their improvement. If you wish to visit your pet during his or her stay we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines that have been recommended by our medical staff.
1. Please call before you come by to see if it is a good time to visit. Our staff will try to arrange the best time for visiting.
2. We ask that you limit your visit to 15-20 minutes and to only two family members per visit so that there will be no interruption in the nursing care provided for your pet and other patients.
3. You may call for updates on your pet at any time. Please understand that our doctors may have limited time available to speak with you when you call. We ask that someone in the family be designated as the representative that our staff speaks with. This is to help us focus our time on the patient and less on the phone. If a doctor cannot speak with you at the time of your call, we may give you a progress report through another staff member or arrange for the doctor to return your call. Thank you for your patience.
Also, please be aware that we provide all hospitalized patients with towels, blankets, beds, toys, cages etc. as needed. We discourage leaving any of these items with your pet, as it is difficult to keep up with them all. Any items left may become soiled and will have to be removed from the pet thus being misplaced and may not be returned.
