    Brittney Foreman
    Veterinary Tech School: Bel-Rae Institute of Veterinary Technology

    Brittney was born and raised in Texas.  She became a Registered Veterinary Technician upon graduation from the Bel-Rae Institute of Animal Technology in 2005. She worked in daytime practice and completed an internship at the Houston Zoo before joining the team at VCA Animal Emergency Hospital SE, Calder Rd. in 2009.  Brittney has three adorable mini dachshunds, Hannibal, Mischa and Clarice.  Besides being the world's most avid James Dean fan, Brittney enjoys camping, fishing and photography.  She also likes snakes and scary movies.

    Gabrielle Perez
    Veterinary Tech School: Vet Tech Institute of Houston

    Gabrielle was born and raised in Texas. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Houston, Texas in 2013 and has wanted to be a veterinary technician since she was a little girL. Gabby recently became a welcome addition to our team. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.

    Craig joined VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast, Calder Rd. in the fall of 2009. He is an experienced veterinary technician and always has a smile and a positive outlook for his co-workers and for our clients. His presence in our hospital is always welcome and we are happy to have him as part of our team.

    Angelo is a recent hire for us. After leaving human medicine and his previous job as an EMT, he has been with veterinary day practices for a few years. He is dedicated to helping our emergency practice. We are excited to have him as a part of our team.

    Jennifer Farabee

    Jennifer started working in the veterinary field in 2007. She has worked at several day practices, but now she is focused on specialty veterinary medicine with emergencies and ICU. Jennifer enjoys veterinary work because of the different cases seen on a daily basis. She also enjoys how advanced the veterinary field has become over the years. She is currently going to school and is working on a BA in Forensic Psychology. Jennifer hopes to, one day, be working with the FBI in their behavorial analysis unit. Besides her work and school, her life revolves around her four fur friends; two black cats named Loki and Tyrion, a German shepard/Chow mix named Summer and an English bulldog named Cash. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, working on puzzles and spending time with her loved ones. She also enjoys cooking and is not afraid of throwing ingredients together.

    Lauren has been in the field of veterinary medicine for the last seven years. After graduating high school in 2007, she received her CVA IN 2008 from TVMA. She thoroughly loves giving the best care for her patients and striving to make a positive difference in their lives as well as making them comfortable. She has two four-legged fur babies, Jackson and Gracie who are both dachshunds.

    Renee' Harkey

    Renee' has lived in the Clear Lake and Gulf Coast area of Texas most of her life. She is a qualified technician with years of experience and an unyeilding compassion for our patients. Renee' also possesses a very positive outlook on life and is always in a good mood. Her presence in our hospital naturally creates an uplifting atmosphere. She loves and cares for her family and her horses and other pets. Renee' has been with VCA Animal Emergency Hospital SE, Calder Road for over five years and we are very happy she is part of our team.

    We are proud to have Greg as part of our staff. Not only because he is a good technician, but because he is also a retired Sgt. of the United States Army. During his tenure in the army, he was educated and took part in all the veterinary aspects of his service. He enjoys being at our hospital because it gives him the opportunity to continually sharpen his skills and be able to also provide the best possible client service

    Lindsey has been in the field of veterinary medicine for the last five years and thoroughly enjoys her work in giving the best care for her patients and striving to make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their human families.  She joined our staff in 2009.  Lindsey and her husband have two children.  They also have a lovable Bassett hound named Layla.  The newest addition to their family is a kitten named Pearl, who is already running the house.

    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Jessica moved to our lovey state,Texas from Nevada 2 yr's ago, where she graduated from the College of Southern Nevada's Veterinary technician program. She volunteered for spay and neuter clinics while in school and participated in several Animal foundation fundraisers. She has two furry felines as well as a mutt mix and chihuahua at home.

Emergency Care

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital.
VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast Calder Road provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care on weekends and holidays. On Mondays through Fridays, we are open from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am the following morning for emergency veterinary care. Emergency veterinarians, and full emergency support staff are on duty during our hours of operation.

We provide the highest standard in veterinary emergency and critical care services. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of emergency surgeries and procedures.
