Analgesia is the state in which painful stimuli are moderated so that, although still perceived, they are no longer painful. In other words, analgesia is providing relief from pain. Analgesia can be accomplished pharmacologically with drugs called analgesics. Based upon the patient, and after performing a thorough physical examination, our doctors will determine what analgesic is best for your pet.
