  • Thank you, Dr. Edwards

    Pet Image Dear Dr. Edwards,

I just wanted to thank you for your kind and compassionate care with my sweet little Maltese Boo. Losing him has been much more difficult than I had expected it to be. But your kind and sweet help with him really helped ease the burden. You truly are gifted in your ability to work with both animals and their owners. I wish you would open a private practice of your own so you could be our veterinarian. Thank you so much for the comfort and kindness that you showed during our visit.

    Sincerely,
    David M.

In the past two months I have used the services of VCA Animal Emergency & Referral of Gwinnett twice. On the first occasion, my beloved dog and friend died in my arms on the way to the Emergency Center. So I walked into the Center with my deceased loyal companion in my arms, sobbing hysterically. The staff was so warm and compassionate, I can never thank them enough. In a time of terrible loss their kindness brought me much comfort. About two months later I brought my new tiny chihuahua puppy in because he had broken his leg. Again, the staff was professional yet warm and empathetic. They took the time to answer all of my questions so I understood the treatment and I left confident that I could care for my new "baby" as his leg healed. I am grateful to have an emergency care facility of this fine caliber in our area to treat my animal family member in a time of emergency. They are truly wonderful!

    Pet Name: Nicki

We think the world of Dr. Carrie Goldkamp and her whole staff. Our beloved Nicki had been ill for several years when his vet moved away and Dr. Goldkamp was recommended to us. We have been extremely pleased with her expertise and willingness to go the extra distance for Nicki and for us. She took up a very complicated medical case not only with skill and knowledge but also with compassion, gentleness, warmth and love. She takes the time we need to ask questions. She wants us to understand and make the best decisions for our pet. We feel very blessed that she came into our lives. We thank Dr. Goldkamp, her technician, Holly and all the other staff for all our care.

  • So grateful to your staff

    -Jenny from Suwanee, GA
    Pet Name: Buddy

We had to use your facility in the past couple of months and are so grateful for the compassionate care we received there. We had to bring our son's dog Buddy to the emergency room because he was dying in the middle of the night. We feel so blessed to have met two angels there that night! Your staff was so warm and caring. I felt like they cared about him as much as we did! I was very impressed with the doctor who was there Dr. Andersen and the nurse named Noel. They spent so much time answering all of my questions. In the end we decided to put Buddy to sleep because he was so sick. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I know he is in a better place now. They gave me a beautiful pawprint which our family is so grateful for too. I will recommend your hospital to everyone I know. And I will always be thankful that you were there for us that night. Thank you!

Just a month after finding out my cat Shadow had cancer, Shadow passed away at home at the age of 14 1/2. It was during the evening hours and the night before Thanksgiving. I headed to Animal Emergency Center where the great staff took care of Shadow. They arranged for her to be picked up by Deceased Pet Care and notified my vet at Falcon Village. They even provided me with a ceramic paw print that I could keep. What they did made a very sad and difficult time a little easier. The staff was wonderful. Having the emergency center in the area is a great relief for all of us parents of pets. Thank you for being there!

  • Indebted to you

    -Bill from Lawrenceville, GA

On October 23rd, I arrived in your parking lot just after my precious little cat passed away. You greeted me with kindness and prompt attention to our needs. You took my cat in to see if there was anything that could be done. Unfortunately, nothing could be done, but you prepared him for me to take home and made an impression of his paw prints. I look at them everyday, and they put a smile on my face. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that gesture. I just wanted you to know that your kindness did not go unnoticed. In fact, I remain indebted to you for helping me through that awful day. Likewise, the card that you sent us was also warm and gracious. Thank you for caring.

    Yours truly,
    Bill
