Biography
Dr. Zachary M. Wright, DACVIM is board certified in Oncology and has been trained to diagnose and treat oncology cases using state-of-the-art technology.
Dr. Wright received his DVM from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and completed a one year rotating small animal internship in medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He then completed a residency in small animal medical oncology at Texas A&M University, and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine-Oncology in 2008.
Dr. Wright joined the Animal Diagnostic team in January of 2012 and is available for consultations and appointments Monday through Friday at the Dallas office. Dr. Wright's areas of interest include palliative and hospice care of animals with terminal cancers, novel chemotherapies, such as Palladia, and collaborative efforts with his human oncology colleagues.
