Thank you VCA
-Lisa Butler from Laguna Beach, CA
Pet Name: LuckyTo the Wonderful Staff at VCA,
I know that you are all aware that my Lucky Dog could no longer take all the hardship on her body and she left us. I loved my sweet Lucky more than words can say. She was the absolute perfect dog for me. She embodied joy and exuberance for life. She was always about love - if you loved her and she could love you and be with you then all was right in the world and she was okay with anything. She was an inspiration to me about how to live. I wanted to be like her and be the person that she thought I was. She was silly and fun and made me laugh and smile everyday. I was grateful for her every moment of her life. While I regret that she couldn't have been with us longer, I have no regrets about the life we shared together. Truly, I could not have loved her more. I will miss her incredibly.
Thank you for all the kindness you showed to both her and me during our time at VCA. I wish you could have known her in her healthy days but I hope that you got a glimmer of what made her so special. From all the affection that you showed to her, I'm thinking that you understood her spirit in life and I hope that she touched yours in some little way, as she did mine and my family'™s every day of her life. I appreciate that you allowed me to be with her - we were joined in spirit and it was so important for me to be able with her - she lived for that - and I needed to be with her to give her as much love as possible. I so wanted her to overcome the many obstacles she faced and live longer - I wish with I could have been able to do more. We tried everything we could and I am thankful for your help in those endeavors. More than anything, I am grateful for your kindness; your jobs are hard and I admire the work that you do.
With love, Lisa and with thanks and appreciation from David as well. -
Doxie Back Surgery Testimonial
-Karen Trask from Arcadia, CA
Pet Name: RucaThank you so much for the immediate and amazing care you provided for our Miniature Dachshund Ruca. We brought her to your hospital on a Saturday evening, and early Sunday morning she had spine surgery. During her 5-day stay, she received excellent care. Within a few weeks she was walking again! The staff was simply amazing and more than patient with all our questions. Our follow-up visits have been equally as wonderful. Every visit I take a few extra business cards to keep in my purse to refer others to VCA. Thank you for saving my dear little Ruca!

Too many thanks to count on four paws
-Digit from Costa Mesa, CA
Pet Name: Digit
I can't tell you how it happened, but I found myself at the animal shelter at 4 weeks old with terrible injuries to both my front paws and one of my ears.
Just before going to a new home I was given the name "Digit" because I only have one left.
A veterinarian took me home but realized that she needed expert help to give me the best chance at a close-to-normal 4 legged life. She knew the veterinarians at VCA All Care would have some options. After meeting with Dr. Hazlett and Dr. Murtaugh, it was decided that I would have a very special surgery to try to save my left front leg.
Even though I'm only 14 weeks old now - and recovering from a pad graph surgery - I am very happy, energetic and grateful to all the staff at VCA All Care for their help.
Thanks to VCA, I will have the opportunity to run, play and finish chewing the coffee table.
If you should ever need to visit there, ask about me. I may even be there visiting myself. There is nothing I like better than greeting everyone in the waiting room and licking the people who have helped me. -
wonderful service

Pet Name: DexterI have been going to my current vet for over 20 years and have never gone to anyone else having full trust in him, but when my 100 pound baby came up limping and was diagnosed with an acl he proceeded to tell me that he does not have the experience to do the major surgery that needed to be done and referred me to All Care. I called terrified of how these strangers would treat my dog and how he would react to all these new faces. I was transferred to Dr Hazlett who rite away calmed me down and gave me me more information as to what needed to be done and asked that i make an appointment so she can personally meet me and my dog. When I got there everyone was soooo nice and reassuring. Dr. Hazlett was great calming my fears and letting me know that a tplo was routine now a days. To make a long story short i went with the surgery. Shannon was very patient and kind with me and answered all my questions and fears through the first week. At all the follow ups all the staff have been great especially Dr Hazlett, who takes the time to let us know we are doing great and he is doing great. Thank you all for calming all our fears and for playing with my big puppy. Bottom line yes this place is a little expensive but its a big hospital with specialty staff 24/7 and people who care about your pet. I will gladly pay whatever they want to help my pet and me have the confidence that everything will be ok great job to all
