Janelle is the technician supervisor of the Intensive Care Unit.
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to Southern California at the age of nine. After graduating from high school she was accepted into Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management Program (EATM). During that time she volunteered at the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Zoo. After graduation she was employed at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital with Dr. James Pettie, chief veterinarian for EATM zoo animals and Animal Actors of Hollywood, as well as a program instructor at Moorpark College. Janelle moved to Colorado in 1984 to attend Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. After graduating she was hired at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital and has been here since June of 1987. She has been responsible for the care of more than forty police canines and is an honorary member of the Colorado Police Canine Association. In 2005 Janelle successfully passed her board of exams for Emergency and Critical Care re-certifying again in 2010.
Janelle and her husband have two wonderful children '" Kaylee, a dancer, and Ryan, a 1st degree black belt.
In 1973 Janelle was invited to participate in the European Nationals in Germany where she placed 2nd . She loves to surf and her favorite music is rock'n'roll and blues.
